Power of Attorney

Before we can represent you before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office or a court of law, and before we can sign any documents on your behalf, you need to print this Power of Attorney form, fill it out, and have your signature notarized before sending it to us.

A patent for an invention is a grant of property rights by the U.S. Government through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The patent grant excludes others from making, using, or selling the invention in the United States. The terms "Patent Pending" and "Patent Applied For" are used to inform the public that an application for a patent has been filed. Patent protection does not start until the actual grant of a patent. Inventor

Definition:
One who contributes to the conception of an invention. The patent law of the United States of America requires that the applicant in a patent application must be the inventor.
